CHALLENGE
The challenge was to design and produce a unique and highly engaging invitation to an influential event in the micro-brewing industry. The second annual “Kind-of-a-Big-Deal” Reader’s Choice Awards intended to draw 800 local and statewide attendees — a sell-out crowd. Our aim was to generate maximum impact, and inspire industry influencers to come out for the event. The invitation was “Kind-of-a-Big-Deal.”
SOLUTION
We collaborated throughout with Gray Duck Media, publisher of The Growler Magazine. Gray Duck provided guidance, artwork, elements and inspiration from the region and industry, and Dolan designed the piece, utilizing the expertise of our in-house creative team and extensive technology to add flair and unusual touches. We created an invite that drove record response to a branded RSVP microsite. We closed the loop by cleaning the client-provided mailing list, inserting 397 pieces and optimizing postage costs.
